Privacy and reader choices
The current reading pages do not ask you to create an account, and this site does not install its own analytics tag. Your browser fetches the pages and images from the hosting service, which may have its own delivery logs and access controls. The separate reader tools offer optional Owned/Read marks, UK/US title preference and a shopping-region preference. These are stored in this browser under the reader-ledger and preference keys; the tools provide a clear-data control. Anyone using the same browser profile may see the marks.
Appearance
The Library green, light and dark appearance switcher remembers a choice in this browser using localStorage under wodehouse-appearance. The value stays on your device rather than being sent to this site’s own application server. Change the switcher to overwrite it, or clear this site’s stored data in browser settings to remove it. If local storage is unavailable, the switcher works for the current visit.
Retailer links
A book or audio link to Waterstones or Audible takes you to that retailer. The retailer can set its own cookies and apply its own privacy notice and consent controls after you visit. Some links may use an affiliate tracking format when the site owner supplies one. They are marked as sponsored, carry a product identifier, and are paired with an affiliate disclosure. The library does not read the retailer’s cookies. Product stock, pricing and access depend on the retailer and can change.
Future changes
If accounts, reader records or measurement are added later, this notice must be updated before they go live with purpose, data, retention and reader controls. The current site does not offer an account or server-side deletion route. The reader tools can export or import a local JSON copy of reading marks; treat a downloaded copy as your own personal data. What this site stores
The site does not send reading activity, searches or preferences to its own server. Filters are reflected in the shareable page URL. The other preferences use only the browser storage listed below.

Third parties: ordinary outbound retailer links are present, but no analytics, advertising or affiliate tag is active. Every proposed third-party tag requires a privacy-purpose, data-flow, retention and copy review before release; no third-party tag has been approved or added.
